Default Gave my truck a little facelift:)

Well about 2 weeks ago they stole my tailgate I used to think they were cheap till i looked at them online lol so I filed an insurance claim. They really came through. I replaced the tailgate handle with a bully lock one so they will atleast struggle if they steal it again lol. I ended up finding a tailgate but had to send it to get painted. I got a good deal so I ended up colomatching the chrome in the front bumper and grille along with the back bumper. I also added the led on the cargo lamps, license plate lights and reverse lights, I also added 6k hids on the front and did the whole interior with leds (ebay) lol Its back at the paint shop because I sent the lower valence to get painted too since it looked ugly with new paint on the chrome and the lower valence all fked up due to rock chips etc etc.

Looks great, like to see some pictures of it outside from the front once you get the valance back! Poeple diss the 03+ GMC when fully colormatched, but I dig it

Did you paint over the chrome? I want to do this to my truck but I've always heard you can't paint over chrome and it last very long

Ive colormatched almost all my trucks. Painter sand/soda/media blast the chrome, primes and paints. Only thing you cant do this to is the plastic grilles oviously. But ive never had any bumpers or grilles chip or flake, and I drive some of these trucks all year around -30 to +30 degrees celcius

I love the color matched front, I did that on my Denali.

You can paint over the chrome, it just has to be preped right and correct paint used so it doesn't crack.

Perfect combo of black plastic and colormatching. If I had your truck, I would have done the exact same thing. Looks awesome. That second picture could be your new signature...very unique.
