Default gettin some new wheels

well, ive came across a pretty good deal on ebay, guys selling some BBS RW 18x9 wheels 5 for 575$ buy it now, they are the plasma finish (a chrome type finish) i figure for about 115$ a wheel or so thats pretty dang cheap.. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BBS-R...QQcmdZViewItem what do you think theyll look like??) ive got a 99 silverado thats goin through some major changes right now, (pearl black, ss cover, painted grille, headlights, billet bowtie, lowering it soon, all that) and now i cant decide on a tire size, the tire places want to put a 285 60 18 on there, but ive done tire size calculators and thats a little big, i think the factory size is 255 70 16 correct?? ive looked all over the place and cant find a definite answer, but if so then a 285 55 18 would be the closest size, but thats a really odd size, so i was thinking a 285 50 18 would look pretty good, but i dont wanna buy a set of tires and look like .. like i do now i have some of the 16x8 american racing wheels you see on about everything.. (http://www.americanracing.com/wheels...ated&section=S) which have 265 75 16's on them right now.. sitting at about 32" in diameter on a 2wd truck lol.. id appreciate the help!!

Those have been on there a while, I see they finally came down on the price seem. Seems like a good deal to me. If you are lowering, I think a 285/50/18 will be fine and still look good.

The specs listed say those wheels are for 4WD GM trucks. You sure they're gonna fit?

yes it is. The will work. I'm not sure how they would look on a lowered truck though.

I have those on my truck with 255/55/18 Nitto 420s. Mine don't have the plasma finish, though. They were on the truck when I bought it, but I like them quite a bit. My truck has only been lowered 2" in the rear, pic in sig. I'll probably sell them when I drop my truck soon to buy some 20" Centerlines.

I've got 255/55/18's on my Titan wheels. They are very close to the same size as the stock tires.
The truck is lowered 2/4.

P.S-Laugh at the ghettoness now, but the billet 22's will be here Friday!
