That looks absolutely incredible. Honestly i would have n. ever thought that was your first time painting. So i would assume you painted your bowtie yourself. How did you do it?

on silveradoss they have a write up the grill comes off in about 5 seconds then there is two bolts holding it to the grill, carefully pry clear plastic off mount, strip, adhesion promoter, paint, then glue and reassemble

Thanks, prior to the hood, rear handle, door handles, mirror caps and the bowtie were the only things I've painted(spraycan) that I cared how they turned out.

I just sanded down the bow tie after removing. Painted over the gold. So no dis-assembly.

oh mines painted on the inside , not the outside, it is alot more work!

the truck looks awesome, always been one of my favorites on ptnet.
keep up the good work, you say you wont paint anything again but just wait it will come back and bite you and you will find something else to paint... at least that is what keeps happening to me

Yeah it's like the commode hugging drunk thing. Damn I'll never drink again. argggg gag puke chuck, please lord, never again...

Hate it wihile you're in it but the pain fades and you go at it again

Bumper cap, possibly a rear roll pan, stripe accross the bottom of the tailgate are on the list. A lot of chips in the bottom stripe. I think all those will be cake compared to the hood. Just scuff and go. Not all the sanding to metal. Much easier.
