First coat of epoxy sealer is on. Wet the booth floor. Go over the panel with wax grease remover. Washed it with dawn earlier. Tac cloth the panel. Spray a couple test paterns. Shoot it.

The test cardboard

Little stand in the booth.

Sealer done. 2 coats. Directions say least possible for coverage. Waited 20 minutes went had a look. Couple small pieces of lint in it. Light scuff pad and those are gone. So far so good. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Looks good to me so far! I think you found your natural unknown talent?

2K Urethane primer is on. Three coats. Tack cloth between coats to clean up the over spray. So far I am stoked. Going to let it dry over night. Block/wet sanding tomorrow.

I do like doing it. It is hard, dirty, work. I might have a talent for it. We'll see after the color and clear spraying.

looks like you may need to overlap your coats more to prevent the "tiger stripping" when you lay down your base. it may just be shadows but its hard to tell.

Yeah it does have some striping in it. Overlap more as in closer together? I was trying to do the standard 50% overlap.
It was really hard to see the primer going down. I could hardly tell I was even laying anything down a few time. I might break down and get couple extra lights for the base coat.

yeah your right with the 50% overlap. its cool with the primer because your blocking it plus with your base being a different color youll be able to see better. looking good so far though. BTW i work at a body shop and i use the same gun at home, the boss buys SATA at work but they are way too expensive for messing around at the house.
