You would be suprised, I've tried to catch one at the local junk yards but as soon as they get something decent there's always 10 other people waiting on it to, which in my case are usually closer and get there first.

Got my old console w/ glovebox for $99 plus tax. Paid $107 out the door at a local junkyard. They are out there, just have to do some digging.

So... about the cupholders you pulled out lol

I found mine in a local junk yard as the damn tahoe was coming off the flat bed...guy didn't know how much they were worth and he said I couldnt have it till the adjuster looked at it but I convinced him to take a deposit on it and he said hell with it that if I pulled it out I could take it for 60 bucks cash! Same color and all parts were there. I did have to replace the power outlets but I wanted to anyways so both of them would have caps on them...looks so sweet in the truck now

I only hooked up the two up front since mine is a reg cab and I ended up glassing out the rear section so I was able to just use the factory harness to plug in the two in the new console and taped up the other unused plug. I also replaced the cig lighter with the rear covered power port so it looks like robert85's.

Yea, there are two or three plastic tabs around the circumference of the port, pinch them in and push out from back to front.

So I take it those plastic tabs are on the backside. That's about par.
