The second day I had it would not close all the way. So I took it back in and a small piece of the guide made out of plastic had broken. I think it was cracked by the installer from the start. they put a new guide piece back in and have not had any problems sense. There has been no leaks.I got the water hose out a spayed the **** out of it . Then I opened the sun roof to see if any water leaked in. There was water in side the sun roof tray but it has four drain tubes, two in the front going down each pillar, and two out the back that drain out in between the cab and bed.The try is there to catch any water that makes it passed the glass.
We also get a lot of rain here in Portland Oregon and have not had any leaks.
As far as how I picket a shop. I went to the two shop that install sub roofs in Portland and looked at some of their work. They were both equal quality. One only used ASC and the other used Webasto. ASC did not at the time have as big of a sun roof as Webasto. They both have a three year 36000 mile warranty for parts and labor, but Wabasto has a life time on parts. So I picked the Wabasto.
Tell the you want to come down and look a one that they just installed.Take your time and look at the quality of the shop before you pick who is going to do the install for you.
I was nervus as hell when I left my tuck there.
Good luck and get us some picture when you get it done.

No mine will not fit in a single cab, because when mine opens the glass goes back 19 inches in between the metal roof and the head liner. So the top of your cab needs to be 19 x 2 long. You will need to go to Webastos web site and look at the model that when it opens that the glass is above the cab. This is called a Spoiler Sunroofs.

sunroof looks good BRO!, 950 installed is good price. I was quoted 1159 for one that sildes out at an angle because I have a standard cab. Retail is 1459 installed price. But I hooked up with a few family members who are in the auto industry and I can get it for 700$.

Also all new 2003 and up come with TAN some crazy idea they had, but you can buy the 2002 parts to replace your 03 parts to make them grey. Thats what I did, and while I was at it I got the overhead console with the homelink buttons. The grey goes well with my black suade headliner. To see my truck step by step click my signature.

Heres a picture of my cousins old truck, you can see the sunroof in a single cab.
