Default Grant steering wheel on my SS

I bought this wheel over a year ago and finally got around to installing it on saturday. Thanks to wkdivr for giving me a hand and supplying the steering wheel puller. It was actually really easy to install and turned out pretty nice. I still have mixed feelings on it though, i reallly like the look of it, but the factory wheel is leather wrapped which i really like where this one is not. All buttons and horn and air bag still function. Oh, and i also had some help from my little man wearing Camo!

Until I saw your truck, I did not like those steering wheels. But I have to say it looks really good!

i found this wheel for 203 dollars new! and grant will pay 40 bucks for your stock steering wheel. would you say this was deff worth it now that you have had it a couple months? is the wear noticeable yet? i see it being comfortable giving you more places to hold on to for road trips. plus compliments the SS package with a sporty look but not over done.

since i installed this wheel, i have MAYBE driven my truck 100 miles so I really can't say anything about its wear or long trips. I will say I liked the feel of the factory wheel better but prefer the looks of this one. The main reason i did this wheel was because my factory wheel leather wrapping got snagged and ripped slightly right were I always put my hand while driving and it was annoying.
