hey im going to get some h.i.ds for my truck and idk what if i should go with
8k or 12k.. what do you guys think?

8k imo. 12k is too much for my taste. i actually got 6k and love them. just a hint of blue

same here. I had 8s and loved them but one started flickering so I put a set of 6s in and I think they look just as good. anything over 8k looks stupid to me.

get anywhere from 6k-8k....4300k looks practically like the stock headlight color and 12k looks almost purple...

If it were my truck, I would go with between 4500K to 6000K. Anything more than that and you actually start losing light output and too it just looks rediculous.

4500 or 5k's I cannot stand 6k or higher! Those lights make me want to ram my YD into whoever has the in the oncoming lane!

If I was a Cop I would pull over every darn person with 6k or more!!! HATE THEM!
