Neither of those are my bag of chips... but I have to appreciate the work that went into them. There's a lot of crap over the wheel-wells in those things! I had a hard time moving my fuse box off of it's mounts, nevermind completely out of the way.

I'd like to see what they look like under the hood.

Good lord...

I recognise the two dip sticks, brake fluid reservoir... and the drive by wire TB.

That's about it!

Mna, I cant see the point of that, it looks nice when some trucks are lowered like 2 wheel drive Tahoes or 2 wheel drive Silverados but I dont see whats so great about bagging. Every single person I know with a bag trucked is a giant money pit with nothong but constant problems. That and after you cut it up, trucks worthless unless you find some one who wants a bagged truck. I want to build up a 88-98 Chevy short bed one day, I'll lower it but I doubt i would ever bag it.

Just noticed that's the Caddy CTS-V engine cover, which means that it has a car intake manifold. Wish there were some clearer pics of it.

And, you can't turn the wheels with it that low, or you'd chew up the fender.

I've had a bagged truck in the past--as a matter of fact, I bought this truck to bag and body drop it. But I got bit my the performance bug first, so it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon.

After living with the 4/6 drop for 2+ years now, I really wish that I could bag it. I can hardly carry anything in the bed (a cooler w/ ice and drinks makes the truck bottom out), the frame and LCA's are all scratched up from bottoming out on speed bumps and big dips on the highway, the tranny crossmember is DESTROYED (I'll take some pics b/f the '80 goes in) and the truck rides a little rougher than I thought it would.

Bags make it MUCH easier to drive if you like 'em low--that is, as long as you have a good install and don't mind being stranded by a burned-out compressor or blown air line every now and then.

It's all about looks--you have to pay to play, as a friend of mine once said. There's trade-offs for everything, whether you wanna have a super low truck or a super fast truck. Just depends on what floats your boat, and what you're willing to put up with.
