So what is supposed to happen? The daytime running lights are supposed to turn on the halos? Are they even bright enought to be see during the day?

think of it as you'd put denali headlights on your truck.
The bulb for the projector is already plugged in with the sensor plugin at the end of it and it has black & white wires that then go down into the headlight housing into another sensor plug. you then take that sensor plug and plug it into the other sensor plug that is already pre-wired coming from the fuse box, therefore its "plug and play" I have no idea honestly which wires the halo wires are supposed to be spliced into. The halos are not bright enough to see during the day at all, much less rely on them to shine at night when the actual headlight bulb isnt.

and a copy of what i sent to them:

Attention 4caroption,
I recently received my Halo Projector Headlights, ebay item 7918420838 and am very dis-satisfied with them. Contrary to what you have on your auction these headlamps are not plug and play as they are not wired to "snap" into the factory sensor connectors. There are no plugs, therefore how can anyone consider the item "plug" and play? The only thing I've been plugging and playing with are the low-voltage wires that were cheaply siliconed to the sides of the headlights, one of which an actual piece of wire that you guys cut off, was still inside the lense, and part of the wire was visible by looking into the lens. Red wires showing totally defeat the purpose of a "clear" headlight. I had to cut the factory sensor connectors that should have already came with the headlights you sold me in order to "plug and play" into the factory connections. Since nothing was included except for the "Halo" wires, major fabrication is needed. Further to my discovery, once I had "hard-wired" the headlight connections into the factory connections after splicing them togther, there was still no power getting to the headlight bulb. There is no excuse as to why ALL the necessary hardware was not included and why there were no instructions included. I would sincerely appreciate some kind of reimbursement from your company as now I have to take my problems to an electrical mechanic to correct the problem. I will be more than happy to provide legal counsel into this matter, in which he will have all copies of our email conversations, your ebay listing description, and also receipts of the necessary cost to alleviate this problem and have an actual headlight to where I will be able to drive during the night as currently I can no longer do so until the problem has been solved.

I would appreciate your prompt response to this matter and look forward to hearing your response and some form of recriprocation for all the difficulty I have experienced with your product.

Best regards,
Santiago SanMiguel

So in other words I should either go with the factory Denali lights or just the plain clear aftermarket denali lights instead of the halo's!!! I think I've seen just the clear ones on ebay for less than $200 + s&h from proexhaust and xtreme racing team. Has anyone delt with them before????

I almost just bought the clear, non-halo headlights when I was first looking. I wish I would have done that in the first place.

just type in "denali lights" on ebay and find the ones that say "non-halo"
and before you buy, make sure the ***** selling to you include some kind of plug in for the factory wire plug

You guys obviously don't get around much. I'm starting to sell these for the NBS headlights (specificly Chevy lights) over on gmfullsize. These are what mine look like:

I MADE these for a parts total of $20 and offer to sell them for $50. The ones you bought use LED's in an acrylic ring to replocate the 'halo' affect. BTW, they're called Angel Eye's orignating from the OEM BMW lights. I use what is called a CCFL or cold cathode flourecent light that is 10x brighter and last longer. At the moment they're kind of exclusive to gmfs members (they're local) unless made a good offer. (I don't mean to make a sales pitch, just providing an alternative.)
