Yeah, I think that if this is done correctly it can look good. I have seen this on some cars and it looks good. I am not sure how it would look on a truck though.


Also, I have only recently heard of "murdering out" your vehicle. This is supposedly where you make it completely matte black (wheels included). Sounds...um...special...

i was thinking of doing the murdered out look on my silverado also all flat black with glossy black rims

They worked for me. I don't like matte/flat black, but that hood looks pretty good with it.

its paint. i just sprayed some flat single stage black on top of my factory clear. there is a slight paint edge. but it turned out ok.
