Default Having a 22x9.5 Eagle Alloy 026 widened.....worth it?

I have a friend with 2 Eagle Alloy 026s in a 22x9.5 the chrome isn't in the best shape so I can get the cheap. I've owned these wheels before and I like them a lot. I was thinking about buying 2 new ones to put on the front and take the ones Steve has and have them widened to an 11 and rechrome them or strip all of them and paint them. How much does it usually cost to get them widened 1 1/2" and rechromed if I go that route? Would it be worth it or should I wait and get some staggered billet wheels? I've never had any wheels widened so I know nothing of it.
