Default HD Grille and Bumper Question

Does anybody know what front bumpers/upper bumper cap/lower valance will work with the 01-02 HD grille on a 99-02 truck? Aside from the HD bumper and cap, I thought that I read that GMC Sierra front bumpers/caps will also work and look normal, is this correct? And if so, what year bumper/caps will work? I kinda like the idea of matching an 01-02 HD grille, with a 99-02 Sierra front bumper assembly, and a Goodmark cowl hood.

Since I screwed up my front bumper, and my grille is quite weathered, I'm putting a plan together for the future

*EDIT* Pics would be greatly appreciated also

That is the 99-02 HD bumper Cap that some one probably smoothed and painted, i dont know of any place that sells one that is already smooth, all i have seen are textured to start with.

Yep, all parts are stock. Smoothed and painted.

Here is what I could come up with pic wise, other than the one you posted of mine

Bill.....just for some Reference, if you move forward with doing this front-end Swap, and that is.....I bought my Smooth Paint-able Front Top Bumper pad from LMC Trucks....they make/sell them for the.....99" to 02" 1500's/2500's HD Silverado's and for the 99" to 02" 1500's/2500's Sierra's.

the lower valance is just a factory one that has been smoothed and painted. you have to change the front frame horns to get hd bumper on. sits lower than the normal so the grille will fit right.

Holy *** I WANT that dually!!! SICK!!!!!!

BTW, Billy, the cheapest place ive found to get valences, grilles, and bumper caps are from KEY Parts, Most salvage yards sell this brand and the fit and finish is like factory. Got my Z71 lower valence for 85$ from them.

I dig the GMC bumper/cap too. Both ways look awesome.

Stock HD valance. Think the technical name from GM is the high flow air deflector, or something along those lines
