Does anyone know about putting a HD hood on a 1500?

unbolt the hood you have now...remove the latch and reinstall in the hd hood and reinstall on the silverado...it's a direct swap for 99-02 chevy trucks...but there is a bit of custom work to get a hd hood on a 99-02 gmc truck.

You have to remove the latch from the stock hood and put it on the hd hood? If so, thats dumb cause the latch is riveted

the one I helped a buddy do was bolted on...

Yeah the HD hood is a direct swap, im gonna be ordering one, $325. It just looks good on the right truck. There was this extcab flat black truck with the HD hood, some custom rear fenders, and dropped

Yeah me too I helped my brother in law put it on his and it was bolt on.
