Angry Headlights

Alright, so let me give you guys the story first.. I started out with the stock headlights, after some time the driver side headlight started fogging up BAD, and I mean bad. I bought the headlight restoration kit, brought it to a buffer, lemon juice, nail polish remover, EVERYTHING... nothing cleared it up.. So I went to the junkyard and bought me a nice extremely clean looking headlight off a 2002 Yukon and went around it with some clear silicon just to be sure.. After 1 day...yeah, 1 day it started fogging up EXACTLY the same, so I went and bought some new aftermarket headlights. Got them in last week and they look magnificent... until today that is, when the driver side light started showing some signs.. Its not fogged up but it looks like somehow water got into it and seems like its going to get destroyed pretty soon as well.. Do you guys know anything on how to prevent this? I got a pic of the new headlight right now, if you need pics of the old ones I can post them up..

When I first put it on:

I always wondered if this worked. My clear corners are like that AND they are dirty inside anybody got any ideas how to clean inside of them?
My s10 literally has water standing in it's headlight haha

Since it was just water I took it inside, and after maybe 5 minutes the headlight started clearing up again, but its still got a little moisture in the reflector on the side.. I've read that a carwash can do that and just the day before I went to a high pressure DIY carwash so I could get all the tree sap off my truck.. I might get some plumbers tape to put around the bulbs and do something else with the outside... on the website it said it was ventilated but I don't see anything anywhere, as to were the factory ones had a little band-aid looking patch over a hole that might've been for ventilation.. If I drilled a hole at the bottom it would let the water out, but would it hurt the inside of my lens more if I don't plug it back up?

Sorry for these long responses, lol.. I don't know whats up with me today..
