I have done this mod & this site helped me:http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz
Desolder the bulbs & solder in the LED WITH resistor. Usually 470-560ohms on the resistor. I'd post pics, but for some reason, the system says it can't create a file for it.

Haven't done the window, headlight, cargo light stuff yet. I am working on the window switches though. Here is a link to the AC panel with Blue LEDs:

I used 5mm 45 degree Blue ones from www.SuperBrightLEDS.com

I know the pic is a little blurry, but you get the idea. I did not just replace the 4 bulbs. I made a whole new setup. I'm working on the write-up now. I'll post that on GM Fullsize & FullSizeChevy when I get done. It will be under the same user name as I am on here.

Soldering has to be one of the easiest things in the world, and inexpensive to get materials for, lookin at around $30 for the gun and a 10' roll of solder.

Just have to make sure you get the polarity correct before u solder the led's, otherwise you gotta do it again, which isn't hard, just takes more time than needed.
