Help? Removing 3M Double Sided Tape Glue.
My bed rail caps were warping so I tore them off.
The drivers side had the thin gray tape and removed pretty easily.
The passenger side was different for some reason, a wider black tape that would not peel in one peice like the other. It left a gorilla snot from hell.
I'm hearing an eraser wheel will not get it. I need a solvent. Any suggestions?

Thanks Guys,
I went to a paint supply house and asked. They tossed a wheel at me. They looked at my truck after I told them the wheel was not supposed to work on this stuff. They said BS! Use the wheel.
I also got the 3M stuff and tried it first. I wanted to save the wheel for last. The 3M was lame to say the least. Then I grabbed this STUFF and wow. If you don't have a wheel this stuff cuts much harder than the 3M spray. Let it soak and spatula off some layers and soak again.
Once I was happy to know what works chemical-wise I put the wheel on a electric drill and OOOOOOOOO! Baby! Amazing. Done in 15 minutes. There was allot.
No paint harm at all. The drill motor was plenty fast enough.
