Trucks lookin good

 

sounds like me. the first time i painted my bowtie, i couldn't wait to get it on and see what it looked like. i put a nice fingerprint in it. i had it perfectly color matched too. took my another 4 tries to get the color right. because my lack of patience, i got a bit frustrated.

the denali looks sweet man.

 

yup, the good ol fingerprint smudge!! On the current one I peeled off the tape too soon and ended up taking some of the paint off!

 

i was thinking about doing the chrome on my side mirrors the same color as the truck. what do you think ILLNALI? and maybe the doorhandles too? probably will have to buy the handles already painted

 

that'd look good. On my '03 gmc I had the black rubber pieces colormatched and left the chrome. You may be able to buy the already painted mirror caps if they made a Yukon or Tahoe in your color, same with the door handles.

 

Yeah i had my front bumper piece,mirrors and tailgate handle all color matched to truck and got the escalade door handles and cant 4get the billet. Next up is boost and headers.

 

Oh Ill truck is looking kick *** man-very nice.

 

Ya, that's how I feel about the shaker hood, but have you seen this one. They make it for GMC's and it doesn't have the "heat extractor" vents. I've never seen it in person, but it looks promissing. Thier website shows a pic of a Chevy!?!

 

Looks real good, I think I'm gonna paint my extra bow tie red and see if it looks better than the billet one
