Default How can I replace the headliner in my '04 Regular cab???

Ok, so personally I cannot stand the look of my factory headliner in my 04 silvy. My truck is black and the rest of the interior is dark charcoal, but for some reason gm thought it would be cool to put a tan headliner in the truck??? WTF do they do this for? And how do I change it? Is the headliner easy to remove? If so, how is it done? Once I get the headlinder down and out, how easy is it to rip the tan **** off and put a nice newdark charcoal felt cover on? Do you spray it with a glue adhesive or what? Thanks!

That's weird. What's the chances of having a different colored headliner compared to the rest of the interior? I have the same truck as you with the dark charcoal interior and I have a light grey headliner.

Remove the hanger hooks, remove the passenger side grab handle, remove the a-pillar trim pieces, remove the rear speaker trim pieces, remove the overhead console (if present), remove the dome light. It should fall in your lap (or on your head). Keep in mind, all of the wiring is glued into the headliner. You will have to pull all of that out.

Edit: You also have to remove the visors.
