Default How to clean up under truck rust?????

W2W sent me a few pics of my exhaust a few days ago and it looks awesome. The problem is, everything else under the truck is covered in surface rust. What is the best way to clean it up? The axle, rear differential, shocks, etc.

I'll probably just replace the diff cover and shocks.

First take a pressure washer and spray it after you have soaked it down with degreaser. When it dries go over all of the parts with a wire brush or steel wool. This is to get any of the scale off. Once it is clean go buy some POR (paint over rust) paint and brush it on. That stuff is great but pricey.

Honestly this is battle I have been fighting for a while. Gotta love new england I got fed up with this peeking wax coating that gm uses.....it SUCKS! Why couldnt they have just painted the frame. I stripped all the wax off my frame which absolutley sucked and painted it with POR15. It looks way better but if this stuff ever peels I swear to god Im pulling the body off the frame and powder coating it. I hate rust!

First off, lets see the pics that W2W has sent you.
2nd, I think the best thing to do is POR15 the hell out of the entire underside of the truck. That is my plan once I get mine back. I hate the rusty look. Especially with all the new suspension goodies I got underneath the biatch.,

Im lazy and my truck had rust all under it when I got it cause it came from Michigan. I just wire brushed some if the bad areas and sprayed the undercoating on. Its holding up fine but theres no salt on the roads down here and I dont tow a boat so it doesnt get into the salt water
