Default How do you de-amber the headlights

On a 2000 gmc sierra, how do you de-amber the headlights. Will they crack when doing this?

.. i tried to do this to my chevy and it took forever to get the lense off. using quarters really helps...the lenses are really hard to crack i think

would you happen to know who makes headlight bulbs that actually burn blue. they have some at auto zone that look blue, but when i install them, they burn yeloow-white. i want an actual blue color.
