wanted to do my bumper in the red plasti dip to see if id like it for awhile but idk how it will compare to the victory red on my truck

 

Highly doubt the color will match up right,just save up and paint it. Ive used plasti dip to cover up faded bed caps and with time the plasti dip bubbles and cracks,never buying it again,just my 02

 

didnt think it would to either but i know a shop that will paint it for just a 100 might do that and my grille for 175

 

It won't even be close. The plasti dip has a flat finish, so right off the bat it will look funny.

 

you can get a glossy clearcoat for it. but yea i doubt it will match. but its only $5 dont like it peel it off. I have sprayed all the trim moldings chrome on bumpers and rims on my 2500 a few months ago and havent had any peeling. I applied 5-6 coats and washed panels with dawn and then wiped with alcohol before painting.

Im am going to a el camino in the next week but i will be using a gun to shoot it
