How to kill the seatbelt chime?

You could find the seatbelt connector, disconnect it and short the harness side together. In other words run it in a loop basically. I am pretty sure there aren't any pyrotechnics on the 04 seatbelts yet so you should be safe airbag wise. If its just two wires than you will be ok shorting it together.

Wow, that was so easy to disconnect I feel kinda embarrased for asking now, the plug for the seatbelt sensor is right behind the seat adjustment grab bar. Heck, I've prolly grabbed the wire by accident a few times while reaching for the bar. Just unsnap the quick disconnect. easy as that.

I like to wear my seatbelt
but for those asking about the the chime while the door is open and listening to music or whatever. I just push the latch down on the door, so it thinks its closed. Just make sure and pull the inside handle before shutting it.
