Do the running boards hang down any lower than the frame? If not you could run a 4/6.. If they do hang down lower, how much?

They do hang down a little bit lower than the frame. All I really want is a 2/4 drop untill I can get air bags and get rid of the running boards.Do you think a 2/4 drop would be good though,as far as clearence of speed bumps?Ive got pictures of my truck. But I dont know how to post them.I am rather computer stupid.

I would think you would be fine running a 2/4 with the boards. I am at 4/6 and have only dragged my frame once. It really wasn't even a drag, just a bump.
