Default How many car shows are you going to/enter in?

I am going to enter my first car show this weekend. Is there any advice you veterens could give me to prep for this show. Our whole crew is going to enter.

Get it absolutely spotless, take a cooler full of beer and enjoy the day.

Clean it obviously, spend some time addressing all the cracks and crevices. Nothings more annoying than seeing a car/truck at a show where theres just obvious dirt in areas that could be cleaned.

Also don't neglect your wheel wells... nothing makes a vehicle look more poorly prepped than chalky/dirty fender linings. Scrub them out and dress them with something like our invisible undercarriage spray.

Have plenty of quality microfiber towels and a detail spray/waterless wash product on hand to keep the car wiped down during the show.

Also if you're being judged make sure you prop the hood open (and clean the engine bay) most judging at shows will deduct points if they can't see into the engine bay. Doesn't have to be wide open, lots of guys will use a short piece of scrap metal or even a bottle of one of their detail products to prop open the engine bay during the show.

Example:

Thanks for the pointers. The car show is this Saturday from 11-2 and I am spending my whole day Friday getting it ready for the car show. Not looking to win, but just want to enter and see how I stack up against local guys. Any special chemicals I can use under the hood?

Use Adam's All Purpose cleaner to get it clean, then treat it with their VHT and In&Out spray. Absolutely amazing products
