I just sold my wheels :s
#24
I have been kinda busy lately but im getting ready to put those wheels on, so far i cleaned front calipers and painted rear brakes, next move will be the door molding and the 400ss stickers, im thinking on doing a polish because the truck is 5 years old and i think once the door molding will be off the paint will be better under it, any recommendations? i wont use a machine, i don't have one and i don't know to use one and don't wanna mess everything up

I'd just pull the sticker and see how it looks underneath first. Who knows, it might not be too bad. I'm not a paint person, so I can't tell you the best way to make it match the rest of the truck if it's more glossy under the sticker. What I can tell you though, is if you take it to a paint person, they'll be able to work on it for ya haha. And also, who cares if they put them on in mexico... it doesn't make the truck worth anything more at all. Chevrolet put trim badges and silverado emblems all over my truck, first thing I did was pull that **** right back off, same with the dealer sticker where I bought it.
Those SS rims are going to look so much better than your old ones...
