That last pic worked. So how'd u do this? Looks like u went w/ all GM pieces from wrecks & what not. Correct? Did u buy any new? Last I knew, it costs a SHITload to buy new GM pieces. What's involved? Is it welding on brkts or do u have to weld plastic somehow?
BTW, nice job.

Yea I have been collecting the cladding from wrecks for about 4 months and finally got the complete set. I have about $900 invested in the cladding and it was all used. New pieces from GM would have been about $2000 or so. If you get any cladding used make sure you get the mounting brackets because it makes it a lot easier to install. The brackets are originally riveted on the body but I used sheetmetal screws to mount it because it makes it easier to make the final adjustments. Top of the cladding just mounts using doublesided tape. Thanks for all the compliments guys.
-Do u have any pics on what these brkts look like?
-How many do u have to install?
It sounds like the brkts or standoffs are used to support cladding, & these tape just keeps em secure. Couldn't a person just use 2 side tape?
I hate the idea of welding all these brkts on the sides of my baby, but I know it's either go weld for GM. Or use an aftermarket kit.

I figured $2-3K. Sorry for the questions. I'm not familiar w/ seeing the backside of the cladding & its' attachment method(s).
