Which kind of nerf bars should I get?
With the 33 inch tires and the torsion bars cranked, the truck's standing pretty tall. I really don't have any issues getting in and out of the truck, but people that ride with me that aren't used to it complain constantly about how it's too hard to step into. I haven't really decided on black or stainless steel or anything. Which kind are some nice ones?
Thanks,
Jordan

Personally I don't like nerf bars . Some people bitch about having to pole vault into my truck, especially shorter people. I just tell them I can pull over at any time and they can hitch a ride with a ricer whose only suspension component is there rubber bumpstop. Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again, the view I get when a hot girl with a short skirt stretches to get into my truck is PRICELESS!!!

I am in the same boat. trying to decide what kind I want as well. Stylinconcepts.com has a huge selection of a lot of brands and good prices as far as I can tell from other searches. Westin seems to be one of the top makers with a good warranty.

I am looking into this power step by amp-research.
http://www.amp-research.com/oem/powerstep.htm
I e-mailed them and they said it will probably use existing holes in the frame and will not need new holes drilled, especially in the body.
I also want to see how well it is hidden from the side.

If you are looking for step bars, check on Ebay. I just bought a set of Steel Horse nerf style bars in black powder coat for my 04 Extended Cab Silverado for $135 shipped. Still waiting to get them in (ordered last night), but have seen them at the local auto parts store for $229.

I have used the Black Smittybuilt, for about 5 years on 2 of my trucks. They are excellent, but my only complaint is when I am off road... They seem to get me a little stuck. That is why I dont like them, but they so look nice and serve a great purpose.
