I want to know how far they recline and are they softer/more comfortable than the stock cloth seats. I'd be tempted to do it if they are softer than cloth.
Is the recline electric or manual?

I have to agree with that, my buddy had a 02 2500 HD with the T bars cranked up and his seats were softer.

I guess it depends on your current seats...I switched to leather in my 2000 and WOW what a difference, hands down the best mod in my interior, and possibly the whole truck...

I had seats like this before...

then got 03+ SSS seats

as far as recline, they go back the same as my stockers and the ones I have are power everything...

as far as being harder, my seats are def. more comfotable that mine old seats and my friends in his 2000 with cloth seats...but I have gone for a ride in some trucks with 'hard' leather seats so I hear what your saying...

I didnt have w/t seats before they were about the mid grade, but I find the leather seats have alot more cushion then the old ones, way way more comfortable thats for sure, and there power everything, nothing on them is manual
