Yeah, I'd like to do that...and the top bumper piece. Will probably hold off on the latter though because I think I'm leaning towards doing an SS clone project; and that piece would eventually get covered up anyway. I'll look into the bowtie sooner than later though!!

Yeah, I love the dark blue. I'm also newly fond of that new color Chevy has now...think it's called Cyber Metallic Grey. When I get the money for paint one of these days, I'd like to match that and the blue up somehow.

I do appreciate the comments guys! I think I've spent about 15 hours on it (including the paint), collectively. Ended up doing TWO wash #1's (), then clay barred it, washed it again, then waxed and buffed it. Followed by chrome polish, back-to-black, etc. Been working on it the last two days.

OH...and then to top it off...the city decided to chip seal my street yesterday. And today they're doing work right up the hill about 2 houses away...and busted a gas line.... I swear...I'm surrounded by professionals!!

I did that not too long ago. A real good wash, clay, wash again, polish, wash. It consumes more time than some may think. Esp. those not into their vehicles & that's it's just a point A to point B type of thing. I didn't use chrome cleaner, but I did it over 2 days too.

Chip seal right after or during a job like this, don't get me startin on people's timin when I'm cleanin my truck. :nunchuk1:

Very clean, even tho it has over 120k, u wouldn't know it.

Debadge & IMO, color match handles. I think this is 1 of the few trucks runnin stock exhaust. We're all gearheads in the end.
