Anyways here is a couple pics of my truck.... its 2wd with just 2" lowering shackles. You could probably get close to this heigh with a 2" lowering shackle, remove the lift blocks and put 2wd ubolts in, then get the 2" lowering torsion keys. Sorry mines a Chebby

Lose the stripe then color match that lower valance.
After that other appearance mods will start to come to mind I think.
If your going to mod the power train I would start with an engine build, maybe a forged 6.0l and a 4l80 swap along with a new rear end, then you will be ready for FI if you ever want to go that way. Do it right the first time out and it will be up and running quicker and longer.
Oh ya, rims and tires are great but more power is a lot more fun, although you will need better tires to use that power.

I like the way a extra cab sits with 2 inch drop shackles. I would go with that and what ever set of tires you get, get them in a sort of wide size. It sets a muscle look to it(you guys know what im talkiing about) and depeding on the size of the wheels, the truck could drop lower. Roll pan, and some color matching would look killer too. Oh yes when your done with it get bitches in bakinis to pose on it and post them up.

Benson,
If you got the extra cash coming in, i say go ahead and trade up. I traded my '05 RCSB Sierra for what i have now. It was a much better truck for modding, but it just didnt fit my needs. Anyway, point is, your gonna mod whatever ya got, mind as well start with what you want instead of trying to make that truck what you want, then mod it. I would go for an '05 and up Sierra classic. Best looking body style out of them all IMO.

Like I said, I am at that point of deciding. I ripped the pine stripping off finally this weekend and thats about all the work Ive got done since then.
Appearence wise, I was thinking drop shackle, 2wd u bolts and no block with uncranked bars up front. Thatll drop me like 3-4 inches. Then, headlights, HIDs and a cowl hood up front. The two tone is coming off. I hate it. So is the chrome molding. Emblems are coming off I think. A corvette logo in its place. Then some silverado tails to clean it up.
Motor wise, is another level but going in the direction of whipple charged with spray, tranny, tuning, heads, Trailblazer SS intake, cutouts and maybe some trick flows one day.
