Default Lift and Rims

I am looking to get some new rims and tires, and a lift. I am going to get a 3" lift, but who makes a good lift, and what kind of rims should i go with. I want something that will last and i dont want anything like 20's or 22's haha.

TIA

weld makes a good 4x4 rim and also centerline. I would either run a 4 inch rancho or procomp lift. unless your wanting to go with a body lift.

I like billets on lifted trucks...

Those are 20's, but I'm not sure of the tire size.

Oops, just realized that you *didn't* want 20s.

Those rims look pretty sweet. Do they make a smaller one i wonder?

Whats the difference between a body lift and a Rancho or procomp lift?

body lift, the others are suspension lift. don't mess with a body lift, unless you already have a suspension lift(IMO). a body lift raises the truck body away from the frame which causes all the lines to usually be stretched or replaced with longer ones, doesn't help your travel out at all and jsut ultimately suck. it is cheaper then a suspension lift but you will also have more problems with it usually. If I had to do it all over again to another truck I would put on a 8inch-10inch suspension kit with some 18-20inch wheels with some 36 inch tires. but that's jsut me. get into that you also have to change the gears. lots of ways to go, what size tires do you want and what model is your truck and what is the gearing?
