lol "am i sure its an 06"
yes its an 06 but there was damage done to the hood and grille before i got it and they had replaced it with what you see here. i guess the guys that did the body work couldnt tell the difference or couldnt find one find one. I would love to put the stock hd hood and grille on it like it came with, but its kinda expensive.

Damn, wouldn't go there again. Good info here, when I lower my truck the rest of the way I'll use the same shocks. Ya, leave your truck outside on a hot day and those decals will peel off no problem. It looks really really good now.

haha sorry just checking, you never know.

well that sucks but then again I like the 03-05 front end. I have thought about the swap too,but like you said its expensive

Yeah I keep hoping ill get lucky and find one at a local junk yard that is the right color and all... but no such luck, I might just leave it. I hated it at first but the damned thing has grown on me...

Truck looks great man, it's nice to see a 4x4 sittin that low. I really like those wheels too, they're my favorite GMT900 wheel. Glad to hear that you like the Belltech shocks, they're on my wish list also, my stock length Bilsteins are pretty compressed.

You need to get the rear hangers and some spindles so you can get that low!

Hell yeah man do it! Just be prepared to get some crap from people for lowering a 4x4, a couple of guys at my work have given my crap for it.

Yeah- the truck looks fawkin' righteous. For the 4x4 sticker I used a heat gun to soten it up, a hair dryer can work, too...................

when i changed my stickers out i just used water with alot of soap and a razer blade came right off paint was fine
