I never take my truck offroad, but it does see a lot of snow in the winter, towing my sleds up to the cottage.
The aerodynamic difference is huge, the truck pulls way harder now at high speeds, it doesn't get blown around in the wind the same, and the fuel mileage is up a lot too.
why such a small cam for a 6L?
Also the tire size is stock SS 275/55/20

Personally, my Z71 rode at the stock height, and on 33's (BFG 285/75-16's) since 99....it was time for a change. I still have the 4wd and shorter AT's (275/70-16) for our New Jersey winters, and for spring and summer, it's like having a nice sport truck. It handles great, I still have great visibility, and I can get in and out of it without having to take a running leap first (I'm 5'10" with shoes on lol). Oh yea, and I never go off roading, so there's no need for ground clearance for me

Another lowered 4 X 4. I love it, easy to get in and out of, handles better. I actually use my truck as a work truck. It gets old hoisting tools in and out of a raised up truck. You can't put anything in over the side, you have to lower the tailgate climb in the back to get a skillsaw out. Wth the lowered truck I just reach over the side and get my tools.
I don't need a ladder to wash the windshield. I bet I spend more time actually 4 wheeling (on muddy jobsites) than 90 % of raised 4 wheel drive trucks.
I also have AWD for the winding roads.
