A detailed list of parts, maybe even measurements . There was a thread a while back asking about making your own, it had measurements and everything, but i can seem to locate it with the search button.

Thanks for all the replys, let's see if I can answer them all. First, the Watt's set up is for the side to side roll. It will keep the truck steady, plus it looks good. I'll end up painting them to match everything. That way from behind, all you'll see is some goodies under the truck and most people will wonder what's under the hood to have all this. Yes, I keep my truck pretty clean, and it's not a daily driver. It's an 06' with only 15K miles on it. It's garage kept in A/C too! I spoil my truck. I do alot of things in my garage, so I installed an 2 1/2 ton condensor and a small pan cake a/c unit. I would make some for you guys, but I just never have the time. It took me almost 2 months just to make mine, but only because I took my time on them. I can make a How-to for Cal Tracs and post it if you guys like. They really were not that hard to do. Dusten, that was me and someone else that posted the link for the "make your own" cal tracs, is this thhe one you are talking about? http://www.whitesperformance.net/Cal%20Trac.htm I'm pretty sure that most of you can make your own, if you can find the right parts. I work in commercial construction as a superintendent building hugh casino's on the Las Vegas strip, so I can get the steel plate and bars. The stuff that I bought from summit racing was this. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
The other bolts and nuts, I got at Lowes, and only paid about $12.00 for all of it. So the most expensive thing that I bought was the rod ends for $40. The other stuff, like the steel plate and bars were free at work. Each truck should be pretty close with the measurements. This "how-to make your own cal tracs" http://www.whitesperformance.net/Cal%20Trac.htm is different measurements, but it's the same concept. If you guys want, I can give you my measurements. Yes, I'm a big red wing and Michigan fan, and was born and raised in Michigan. To bad that Michigan really sucks this year.

Very nice looking setup. I hope to get a set made for mine someday. Do your caltracs pivot on the front of the leaf spring like the design on the whites performance link? I was under the impression that the caltracs was bolted stationary to the frame in front and just kept the rearend from twisting.

Yes, they are just like the ones in Whites preformance. I made them to where they are fully adjustible.

That's cool, I grew up in Riverview Mich. We use to go to Grosse Ile all the time to party on the river, and fight with all the guys from Trenton at the park. It's been 22 years since I've moved from there.

I dont see any lock nuts in that picture... just wondering if you were using any?

I helped Dockrocker put a set of Caltracs on his '91 and the design is pretty simple..
I plan on making some when i get around to it...
