Default molding removal

alright so i finally got around to debadging the whole truck but now i have about 12ft of that crappy molding all along the sides, is the process for removing the badges the same as the molding? hair dryer, eraser wheel and

I left mine out in the sun, with the molding on one side directly facing the sun. It was around 90 degrees out that day and the molding pulled off pretty easily. I peeled the adhesive tape off with my finger nail, it sucked, but not too bad really.
I then used goof-off to get all the residue from the tape off followed by a wash with some strong detergent, and a buffing/waxing.
Really hot water works to pull off moldings too if you can't wait for the sun to do its job, be care full with a heat gun if you do use one.

I did the same thing, left it to sit in the sun and then went out to do it. The molding was easier than the badges IMO.

try some fishing line for the stubborn areas, youll be suprised at the amount of crud behind these moldings.

i guess i wont start to do this job until i have a whole lday to dedicate. i should probably let my thumbnail grow out some too

i used that 3m adhesive remover. its pretty good.

Moldings will peel off easily, most of mine weren't even adhered. Then washed it, I used CitrusSolve, 3M Hand Glaze and polish.
The Silverado logo on the tail was a MF'r even using a heat gun so be patient with it. Then the same procedure...
