We have been doing that on bagged/bodydropped trucks for years...That with a fender lip roll gives you alot of room for wider tires

Turns out good...if you take your time and do it right.I have done it on 88-98 trucks and 99-06...I have even riveted a flat piece of 18ga galv when a welder was not available...I may do it to my truck when the 305/45/18 dr's go on...

If you are in need of a professional fender roller, I have one down here in San Diego...

I would love to see some results of this procedure on a 99-06 shortbed. Seems pretty simple if you take your time. I could use another 1-1.5" on my current rear wheel setup to get them to tuck.
