Default My 05 Tahoe conversion to 06 SS silvy

This is my progress so far on my conversion from 05 tahoe to the 06 ss silverado front end with SS bumper and the HD hood will be here tomorrow hopefully i will get it bolted on and sprayed by this weekend.... let me know what you think! Thanks

Looks nice. I hope the hood lines up good. My 99 to 04 front flip silvy clip swap has somthing wierd going on with the hood. People seem to think its not closed sometimes while driving. I'll eventually take care of it.

Must be kind of moving upp and down while driving? Mine was doing that and I adjusted the latch down, and the rubber hood bumpers on either side of the rad support up

I did the same thing, but now the gap increases as you go from the back to the front of the hood. Looks like crap.

Use the GM hood springs. The aftermarket won't hold the hood. Trust me, I know. If I could get the lever that locks the hood down moved about hlf an inch it would look stock.
