Hey, I the guy that if I want to go fast, I do it in a car that weights like 2k less.. lol Trucks to me should go up, now down Just personal preference

So your car weighs 2600 pounds with you in it? Actually, contrary to popular belief, the trucks aren't *that* much heavier than a stock F-body. Before the 80-e swap, my truck weighed just over 4100 pounds w/o me in it. So it's like 500-750 pounds difference. Yeah, I could go faster in a Camaro, Vette or Goat, but it wouldn't be a truck.

I like your paint scheme idea. I had a truck that was the same color as yours and had the idea to do something similar. I think it will look good.

Just took my truck and hood/grill/bumper/everything else to the paint shop today but I had a steel goodmark cowl hood and that F$#@er was heavy. I'm subscribing to find out the weight diff when you get it. Awesome pick up!

Check the guy's Ebay store....he has some others Or you could always call them. I got their number....as I just called in my payment. She said it goes out via freight tomorrow and should be here in about 5 days. Does anyone know what a stock hood weighs??
