I know you don't want to hear what the shop should do, but here is what you need to do. Go to the shop, and tell them/show them the problem, and ask them how this should be fixed. More times than not shops deal with each other, and they will know of a place that can fix this for you as they may trade work saving you the cost. No matter what the business is, they always want satisfied customers, and will usually do what they can to legitimately resolve a situation. If the shop does not give you an answer that you feel is a proper resolution, then you need to take it to shop that is familiar with a problem like this. If there are grinder marks that are leaving embedded debris in the paint, I would recommend to not wet sand it as that could scratch the entire finish. I would not touch the paint or have anyone touch the paint before you take it to the shop. If there is a problem the shop could wipe their hands clean of the situation saying that the problem could have been fixed if you would have listened to their directions in the first place.

Again, please stop posting comments about what the chassis shop should or shouldn't do. That part of this project is between me and them, and I have no complaints so far. I'm simply looking for solutions.

Thanks for the comments guys, keep them coming if there is something else that hasn't been mentioned. I'll keep yall updated.
this thread shouldn't even exist.

You are looking for the solution? HAVE THE SHOP FIX THEIR FUCKUP

Damn, some of you guys need to chill. I just noticed it this weekend and I'm not gonna call the shop till Monday. I'm sure they will help me out, just give me/them a chance to see how we're going to take care of it. Thats why I didn't want this to turn into a **** talking thread. I was just posting to get opinions on a fix for when I do call.

I'll keep yall posted.

I have a build thread in the projects section with a ton of pics of the chassis work. Truck is nowhere near complete though.

I tried to take some pics of the paint but I don't have a good enough camera for it show up.
