I say ditch the tailgate molding at the top and color match the chrome part of the bumper. Should look pretty good like that. Or if you wanna spend some money get a rollpan.

ya, was thinkin that but i need to find a new rear bumper as mine is bent from when my dad backed into someone... did you color match it yourself?

get rid of the bed cap, get some '03+ tail lights tinted, and either color match the bumper or get a roll pan.... or do something cool like shorten the rear bumper (looking at it from the side to bring it closer to the body, but keep it somewhat stockish looking).

ya i would remove the bed cap but, theres surface rust from when the bed cover rubbed it and theres a little on the corners. i went to a body shop and they qouted me 1200 for a half bed repaint and sand. so thats out of the question now... but anyway, how do the 03+ fit? and moddifications needed?

03-07 Silvy tails fit fine, you just have to buy the 03-07 taillight harness which is really simple (or you could cut yours up like some of the guys do)
SS spoiler, painted to match rear bumper plastics and tailgate handle/bezel, new chrome bumper and stock 03-07 tails and 3rd brake light imo.
(not my truck)
Here is a good deal on the spoiler.... ordered mine from these guys and got it in one day!

It comes smoothed in primer ready to paint from SAE... I dropped it off at my local chevy dealer and they painted it for $58 and had it done in about 3 days from the time I dropped it off. I am taking the 3M tape off my tailgate from the old spoiler right now to put the SSS on for Carlisle on Saturday
