Default Need help on GMC door moldings

First off, can I get as many pics as possible of GMC E-Cabs, or Chebbies with GMC Moldings....

2nd.....My truck is a 00, and only a 3 door. I like the 03+ moldings (without the moldings on the bed). Only thing is the 03+ molding will not run the full length of the cab on driver's side.....how odd will that look?? Is there any factory GM side spear ended molding to fit on my driver's side cab and have it look right, or am I forced to get 99-02 Moldings bcuz of not having a 4th door.

3rd.....Where, other than dealer, can I order the moldings?

Thanks in advance!

Check the standard part# thread for PNs...
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=114619

www.partszoneonline.com and www.gmpartsdirect.com ought to have em at under dealer cost. Also try getting quote from those sites and see if your dealer will match it (the above sites are just dealers after all).

My sig has a ton of photos

Personally think it will look alright...could always photoshop the door gap closed on a pic of a 03+ four door to be sure.

I dont forsee there being a problem using the 03+ side molding. I plan on using the 99-02 side molding on my silverado because I dont want it to extend onto the bed. You can check out www.factorycustoms.com.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if you don't want it on the bed, shouldn't you use the 03+. I know for the silverado molding, the 99-02 is on the bed and the 03+ isn't.

To be honest Im not exactly sure. I thought that the 03+ had the trim on the bed and the 99-02s had the trim on just the cab.

no 03+ is cab only....i decided to go ahead and just use the 99-02 moldings...i dont want the driver's side cab molding where the rear door WOULD be to look akward...i found a cheap set locally, so i will just go ahead a tape those bastards on there, lol.

thanks everyone!
