please for the love of god do not buy that chrome piece. I can't stand those!!! Just buy a new piece or go to a street scenes lower valence or even an SS bumper cover(maybe even a JGP bumper cover?), but those chrome pieces just don't do it for me at all.

It's tricky to put chrome on a car or truck and have it actually look good and fit on the vehicle. Slapping pieces of chrome because they come in that finish as an option does not IMO make or add to the look. I think the chrome crowd got carried away.
I'd say paint a and match the lower valance. That will look, clean and sharpe.

yep..id also agree..color matching the upper/lowers would be alot cleaner than the chrome peice..

the ss bumper cover would be even better.

I'd get a valance with the round fog lamp holes. The Tahoes and Z71s came with those. The stock silverado lamp suck. They're good for 3-5 feet and that's it. I was in the same boat a while back and regret it.
I bought the valence new for $52, the light kit new for $80 something (wire harness, lights, and stock dash switch), and then another $70 (reprogram the BCM) just to keep the stock button on the dash. It was a waste.

I would get so PIAA driving lights or the Pilot dichronic fog lamps. Or something that works great.
