I think 35% on side & 20% on rear would work. That's darker than LA law. LA law requires no darker than 40% on sides (most shops' next up is 50% tho). Darker than 40% on regular-cab sides is prohibited.
I am not really worried about the law down here, well this county, plus I believe getting a citation for tint is still considered a non moving violation which doesn't go on record. My back window didn't have a factory tint already, it's a clear one so it's not so dark. The color of may dash being light makes it not stand out fo much.

It does look good. I like no tint on the sides but it gets too hot down here. I had removed them (see sig and a few pics posted a while back) cause my driver's has some wear and tear and it's very noticeable with darker tint. I plan on replacing it soon.

dont go to dark iv been pulled over twice and told em might as well give me a ticket cause im not taking off tint i paid 200 dollers for
