Thanks guys! It's an APS off of eBay that's polished on the face and powdercoated black on the tops/back/sides. I'd love to colormatch the front but someone told me that you couldn't paint the textured bumper cap and lower valance and I don't want to spend the extra $ on Tahoe parts to re-paint. Can the lightly textured cap and valance be smoothed and painted without worrying about the paint chipping or falling off?
You can smooth the parts you have with sandpaper, but it is a pain to do. There are a lot of threads on here about painting bumper plastics. Do a search.
My valence is painted, and I've had absolutely no problems at all. Sand it down until you get tired and use a paint adhesion promoter. Then paint it. Again, do a search and you'll find a lot of good info on this.

Thanks guys, I'm glad my best friend told my wife which one to order for my mom. I was expecting an overlay, but I'm so glad it wasn't. They were only $35 for the set too.
