Default New to me.

Just bought this 2006 Tahoe. It is a Z71 with 91,000 miles body is clean, bumpers and frame have some rust. At some point in the near future I would like to get the bumpers re-painted and do some touch up to the frame.

Plans are BB tune ASAP, bag the rear(simply for ride and tow leveling), slightly lower the front and set rear to match. I am thinking 2/4 because it will cost almost nothing.

I have always been into lifting 4wd and further down the road when I have the money that will probably happen. But I can drop the torsion bars approximately 2 inches for free and bag/drop the rear for super cheap. I am thinking $100 or so for used bags, I have a compressor(want to upgrade the compressor in the HD), level valve is cheap and a few fittings. Hope to sneak in under $250 but we will see.

P.S. Unless you have a lift and larger tires for $250-$300 don't bitch that it should be lifted being 4wd. When I have $3000 or more I will lift it, but, making the payment and putting my few extra pennies down I can't afford a lift any time soon and it can't stay stock for long!!!!!

I love the Z71 Tahoes. Looks great. I have some airlift helper bags if that's what you're looking to use in the rear. Let me know.
