Kyle, your welcome!

I'm not a big fan of the plasti dip wheels on my truck. I've thought about it a few times but I just can't go through with it

I need to see how the clear coat stuff works. I haven't seen anyone use it yet and idk if it'll turn out okay or not.

I've never heard of plastidip. Which of their products did you use? Spray on?

Yep. Comes in a can just like spray paint. You can find it at a local hardware/automotive business. It's pretty neat stuff.

What is it? Paint, rubberized coating? Why use it instead of regular spray paint?

Ferocity02 From what I have read you spray it on like paint and it comes out in like a rubber/vinyl like feel. It comes in a couple different colors but black seems most popular. The good part is if you don't like how it looks are came out you just simply peel it off. Can be found at Home Depot,Lowe's, are maybe local hardware store.

So is it's only pro over spray paint that you can peel it off? How does it hold up compared to paint?

It started off as being a coating that you dip your tools in for grip on the wrenches, etc...

Now its being used as a paint for anything. It holds up alot better than typical spray paint. It's almost like a powdercoat/vinyl. I've had mine through carwash's, pressure washed, etc. Still going strong. Do a search for plasti dip, there are tons of threads around here.
