also, with just the CAI, muffler swap and a tune you hit a 14 sec quarter mile with that 4.8?
mine has the 4.8 too, but i havent done any modifications yet and mine feels like it would be lucky to hit a low 16. i cant see it hitting a high 14 with just the ins and outs mods and a tune, but that would be impressive!
thanks

If anything, I'd get a wider tire (275 or 285) and keep the same height.....or even taller. Anyways, good progress so far. I love those stock wheels.

No, thats an old 14 sec. title from my other previous truck, lol. I couldn't tell ya what my times would be on the new truck, it is much quicker with the tuning, not so much from a dig, but anything above a stand still start hauls some pretty good ***. If I could get the thing to launch hard, I'd say it would have some low 15's or high 14's possibly.

thanks KB. Looks pretty good, but I think it confuses me even more. LOL.
I had been thinking about a 275x?x17 tire, but in a 17" tire, there are few options for a 275 width with larger diameters. About the only options I've seen are 275-65-17 and 275-70-17 and the selection of tires for both sizes aren't much.

OH yeah, KB, no big rush, but maybe another favor if you have the time. I'd like to look at the photoshopped 2" drop versus lifting the front to level it out. Again--if you have the time and all.
