Default new shoe pics(285's on 16x8 ultras)

i havent done anything to the front end yet and the 285's BARELY clear! The will rub slightly if i get on ground thats offlevel while turning. My lift goes on next week(just 3inch kit). I gotta get my tool bax on the back, but thanks to fed ex that had 8 dents in it and had to get sent back!!!!

this is a work/farm truck, so its not all bling bling

but I decided on the 16x8 ultra rims and 285/75/16 M/T radials.. i really like the rims on the grey color truck

nice truck, looks like mine! What kind of lift you going with? Have you tried turning your torsion bars a little to lift up the front end? Ive done so with mine, and will be going with some ford keys to level it out (ranchhand is heavy). It doesnt ride horribly, in fact I like it more this way. Good choice of wheel/tire combo!

just checked out your website looks like we have twins, except your's has power everything

I was gonna get the ford keys, but the guy that installs them said theyare hit or miss. He put some on 1-2 trucks and they picked up 1-2inches up front. He installed some on a few trucks also, and they mighta got .5inches. I dont wanna turn the bars up, just because I like the stock ride and I kinda like the low profile up front.. looks like a drag truck lol. Im just putting a 3inch body lift on.. ive owned 3-4 trucks and had body lifts on them all and no issues.. I just cant afford 1500bucks for a damn suspension lift They must be made of gold lol.

dang, i shoulda got 16x10's lol

i just got kinda tired of dirt and crap getting slung on the sides of the truck all the tiem after I cleaned it lol. But wide tires just make the truck look so much better though.

I got my lift through a tire dealer up the road form my house. I priced national tire/wheel, international tire, and other places and they all wanted 340+ shipping for their 3inch kits(performance acces). Mine was 340 shipped so 299 is a hellova deal! I take that has the bumper kits and all correct? Everyone wants 20bucks for the shipping since the damn box weighs 60 pounds!

I know some dont like body lifts, but it will give me the clearance I want for a cheap price.. I had a 4inch suspension on a 94 z71 with the body lift, and hands down the body lift was the best bang for the buck!

your truck looks good with those rims/tires!

body lifts do the job, they dont affect your suspension, i think you cant beat them compared to a $1200+ suspension lift. a certain ebay seller has the 99-02 BL kits for $225 + S&H, and 03+ for $299 plus $16 to my door.
I had a BL on my last truck as well, they look good as long as you dow them right, IE moving up the bumpers and covering the gaps. Nerf bars dont help either to help hide the frame.
As far as cranking, those pics showed my tbars maxxed out, it would sit level if that heavy RH wasnt weighin it down, i only play to put the ford keys in to level it out, not crank to get the 2in of lift most do - thats when your parts go to hell and the ride is horrible!

I put a 3" lift on mine, and was able to clear 35's !!! I think that had to do with the GMC air dam being different from the Chevys. Body lifts are fine, just make sure you cover up the gap between the bed and frame so you can't see through to the other side.

what did ya'll use to cover the gap? I know some use diamond plate, but that looks kinda tacky on a dark truck.

I had the bars cranked up on one truck, but dang on it was a rough ride. Thats when i said I would never crank those up again.. no more than a turn anyway. If that lift is 299, you better order it. The Performance acces one is going fast.. i went to order mine since they had 1 in stock.. ordered and someone had just ordered it 3mins before me! Now they are on backorder since 14 people just ordered them right after mine. Took me 6 days to get mine!!

I just put the ford keys and 305/70's on mine Wed. night. Looks good. Got a lot more out of the ford keys than I had expected, and I didn't really crank them. Your truck looks good
