Default New tires: Does this look bad?

Hey Guys,

I was in desperate need of some new rear tires. And I just couldn't bring myself to keep buying the expensive Yokohama tires at the rate I keep burning through them.

So I decided to try a much less expensive tire, but I wanted something wider than the Yoko's too.

The fronts are my old Yokohama Parada Spec-X 265/40-22 tires (30.4" tall) The rears are the new Nexen Roadian HP's 285/35-22 (29.9" tall) at a whole $100 bucks less per tire.

Does it looks just absolutely ridiculous having a .5" shorter tire on the rear of the truck? Should I put the Nexens on front until the old Yokohama's are toast?

I like having the 285's in the back, should I just keep it this way until I change out the fronts too in a couple months?

Cheers ~Mykk

I don't think its very noticeable unless you know what you're looking for.

I can't tell a difference.

Do those tires hook pretty good for a cheaper tire?

It makes the rake more prominent but other than that it looks ok to me.

It doesn't jump out at you but you can tell a little if you look for it. I personally don't like a side wall shorter then a 40 series on a 22 but that's just me. I say drive it as is and just do the front later.

I only could tell a difference after really staring at the truck. If i just glanced at the truck I don't think I would ever notice it. But if it bugs you, which is what really matters, then swap em.
